Presidential Candidates Ignore Disability Community

As the House of Representatives this week passed an updated version of the American with Disabilities Act which expands the definition of disabled, we decided to take a look at what the Presidential candidates are doing to address the disability community and their issues.  Jim Dickson, Vice President of the American Association of People with Disabilities says they're not doing a whole lot.  Jim Dickson spoke with Election Unspun's Karen Miller. 

Election Day Accessability 

After the 2000 election, Congress passed the Help America Vote Act which, for the first time, provided grant money to states to increase election day accessibility for those with disabilities. Lee Paige Advocate Director with Paralyzed Veterans of America says major gains have been made in recent years.
