FSRN has been given notice by the financially-strapped Pacifica Foundation that it will be cutting its funding by more than $13,100 a month – effective immediately. This is a devastating blow. We could soon be off the air without your help.

Gudelines link not working
Greetings! I would like to explore the opportunity of submitting some stories from Bulgaria, where I am situated right now but I can't seem to be able to open the guidelines link and get some info on how the process works. It would be great if you could look into it. Thanks. Maria
How can I set up this new forum?
Hello, I've just signed up for an account, with the intention of starting a new forum. The purpose of the forum would be for FSRN reporters and editors to be able to discuss their work and techniques, share ideas and tips. But I don't seem to be able to create a new forum myself.....details below. Thanks, Tom
Working for FSRN has many rewards – you get the chance to experiment , to cover exciting stories, when few other networks would give you the chance. But sometimes you can feel a little isolated – you never get to meet your editors, and rarely encounter other reporters. Feedback and positive guidance about mistakes, about developing your radio journalism, is a rare commodity. I know that when I have received it from our time pressed editors, it's been like gold dust. On the other hand, I'd love to hear tips from other reporters – and share some of the knowledge I've built up filing stories for FSRN over the last few years.
So this forum is intended to be a place for FSRN reporters and editors to talk about their work, and their working lives. I'm hoping that it will provide both groups with fresh ideas, and increase the communication within the organisation.
forum for feedback and positive guidance
tom - i hadn't noticed this, but i had the very same idea as soon as the newly-powerful website went up.
i don't know if you got a private answer about how to set up a forum, technically, but i'm going to find out and hopefully you can get this up and running in the very near future.

This isn't website related, but I have a question that I can't seem to get an answer to.
What does one have to do to get their station listed in the affiliates list? I've been carrying the newscast for over two years, and even made donations as the money was available (we have a zero cash flow), yet my station has never been listed or even acknowledged.
Also, how does one get a new promo clip (preferably with the station mentioned)? The one I am still using features someone who no longer is even affiliated with FSRN, and there doesn't seem to be a download available for a newer one.
Thank you for your time.

Hello Brenda,
Did you get an answer to this a few months ago? I'm cleaning out the comments section, and noticed your comment. I wanted to know if someone on FSRN staff has already gotten back to you on this.
